In prioritizing the health and wellness of all our members, USA Fencing has instructed us to postpone our divisional qualifiers. We are working to reschedule the events and will be sure to post updates during the coming days with the new date. Join us for the Junior Olympic Qualifiers on November 18th, 2018 at Mission Fencing Center! Registration and more info can be found on askFRED here. Junior Olympics will be held in Denver, CO February 15-18, 2019. The USFA has more info on the event here. On May 13, 2017, Hills Fencing Institute (H3) will be hosting their 3rd annual "Lunge for Life" tournament. This charity event is a fundraiser run by a number of fencers involved in annual Relay for Life events through the American Cancer Society. 100% of entry fees will go to the American Cancer Society.
The tournament is held in the cafe at Half Hallow Hills High School EAST. Please come down and support this worthy cause. Cost of tournament per fencer pre-registered is $25. Walk-ins will be charged $35. Food and drinks will be made available for sale throughout the day. Fencers can register on askFRED here. The Long Island Division was certainly well-represented by our fencers at 2017 Junior Olympics in Kansas City, MO this past weekend! All our fencers fenced well, and gave it their all.
